Alexander Mercado originaly from Puerto Rico who hails from Boston, MA, where he was hand picked from a group of breakdancers to become a member of the Floorlords Professional Urban Dance Theatre. Shortly after, he was made president of the Floorlords' 2nd string group, where he developed skills as a choreographer and show coordinator.

In 2001 one, Alexander made the long trek to Los Angeles, in order to pursue a screenwriting career in the entertainment industry. But it wasn't before long where Alexander made some connections and found himself performing and teaching at parties in Los Angels, as well as for eager crowds at the Hollywood and highland mall. From there it was only a matter of time before he once again was invited to join a dance company, One Step Ahead, with whom he still performs and practices with today.

Alexander is a dancer with an energetic sense of style. He possesses swift floor movements, gymnastics skills, and an incredible sense of rhythm. Alexander is very quick at picking up new choreography, taking directions, and promises to become a fine professional talent.
